Leather Jacket Redo!

I continue my love-affair with redoing or revamping cheap, thrift store finds, or in this case, an AMI grey leather women's jacket that I paid all of seventy three cents for! That's right, $0.73!!

When I saw it, I was a bit skeptical. Leather jackets, especially with lapels, tend to look stiff on me, and since I can be a bit uptight at times, it makes me look even more stiff, or at most, not quite right. But I also thought "hey, it's only $0.73! This is ****ing awesome!!" and if nothing else I could practice sewing and altering with it.

So with no further ado, and with no more specific sewing tutorial than the one I've used to alter sweaters, here it is!

Before:

It's a bit too big, and makes me look... frumpy. :(

 After:

And add a cute accessory, another  $0.73 scarf, and voila!
